Fantasmic January Refurb

Not sure if many know this yet, but Fantasmic will be undergoing a refurb in January for 5-6 weeks, and I have heard two different stories by two different members of the management team on Sunset.

The first one I heard is that Fantasmic will be recieving talking characters, such as the Dream Along characters for the show, and small minor Mountain fixes.

The second I have heard is that all the lighting for the show will be getting an upgrade. Not noticeable during the show but just easier lights to do maintenance on. Also minor Mountain fixes.

I am really hoping for the first.

I wold love to think F! would be getting such an awesome update, but with everything else going on I'm pretty sure it'll just be normal maintenance stuff. It's too bad, F! is my favorite of the night time shows. Oh well, I love it anyway

Honestly, I wouldn't consider the talking characters to be a huge improvement at Fantasmic. Nice, but the characters are so far away that it's not as noticeable when their mouths don't move.

Sure, it would be nice. But it doesn't rank very high on my wish list.

the talking characters and minor mountain fixes wouldn't take that long...they could order/program/build the heads and use them the day they arrive
