Fantasmic in December?

On the days my family will be at the World, MGM closes at 7 PM, the same time Fantasmic begins. However, the day we were planning for MGM is a PM extra magic day. We're not staying on property. Does this mean we can't see Fantasmic? If we were in the seating area by 6:30, would we be asked to leave when the show starts?

I think you'll be able to stay. If the park closes at 7p, that means you can no longer get into the park. You'll still be able to stay and watch Fantasmic and then after it's finished, they will have roped off pathways directing everyone to the main gate. At least this is the way it was in May 05.

You should have no problem it is a scheduled show and they will push people after the show to leave.

Thanks for the answers. My concern was that Fantasmic was scheduled for Extra Magic Hours guests only that night.
