My son would have HATED it. The whole thing is villians! The only part he would have enjoyed is the swordfight but that's at the end with all those scary things happening. He's also very sensitive to how music is used, he can tell when a scary scene is coming up b/c of music changing (perhaps he will be a composer!), and just the music alone would have terrified him.
Thankfully we had been horribly forgetful parents and hadn't eaten until almost 9, and when we finally got some food into him (after a Tomorrowland tantrum) he passed out cold in the stroller, and hubby and I were able to watch it. And...that's the last time as far as I'm concerned. Even I was scared!
And to wait that long for something that would have been so scary, oh man, he might not want to even go into NOS the rest of the trip!
But all kids are different. We had NO plans to see F to begin with, because we figured it would be scary and he wouldn't like it...we only saw it b/c he fell asleep, and we were right, we believe. If your kid isn't like that, go for it.
