Fantasmic Fast Pass ??

Ok, so we traveled to Disneyland last year for the first time. on our Disneyland day we were so tired from travel that we left before the fireworks show and Fantasmic. (i know i know....i cant believe we did either, we are avid WDW goers and never miss the night time entertainment.)

My question is, how should I handle the fastpass for this? I know when we went to DCA, we were instructed to pick up a fast pass for RSR first, then we went and grabbed our WOC fast pass. I'm just wondering if there is a specific way to do Disneyland like that?

Also, I'm going NUTS with not being able to see the park hours for June already - I'm so used to WDW being SO far out! I want to make sure to catch the nightshows!

Pay for the Blue Bayou dinner package so you get a great seating view. Everything else could be standing view only.
