Fantasmic dragon working?

Greeting DIS'ers,

We are coming to Disney this December and Fantasmic is showing for a couple of our vacation days but I saw via the boards that the dragon is out of commission...any word yet when (or if) he is coming back?

My DD (2 1/2 yrs old) has never seen him and this is her first (of many trips to Disney to come!) trip to DLR and I would really like it if she got to see him!

What do you mean by this? I saw fantasmic last night and the dragon was in the show? Are you referring to something he would normally do that maybe I didn't see?

Oh, now I know you must be talking about the black dragon, and what I saw was the yellow snake (makes me think of a Chinese dragon) so that's what was getting me confused. Because I haven't seen F! at DLR (only WDW) I really didn't miss the dragon element and thought that raising Malificent was the DLR version of the evil climax.

Right-O. Sadly, the new dragon that debuted back in 2009 has been plagued by mishaps ever since (worthy of the nickname Murphy as many of us like to refer to her). The raising of Maleficent leaves something to be desired after seeing the dragon in all it's glory.

Unfortunately it's not looking good as to when she'll be back.
