The new Fantasmic! dragon will premiere tonight, September 1st. Media invitations have been issued. Of course everything is subject to change (weather, technical difficulties, etc) but the plan is to debut the dragon tonight.

We were there last night ... just in case ... 5 minutes before show ... last minute spots, squeezed in with sweaty people ... no dragon ... still had fun.

My daughter texted me today that the dragon was debuting tonight ... dropped her & her friend off ... told them have fun ... they have a ride home ... I'm here DISing ... I'll see the dragon later.

yup!..he was there~!!..omg he was huge and it was epic..the crowd was going crazy..the only thing that didn't happen was that he didn't shoot fire out I guess something happened to his flamethrower..but everything else was fine..mickey was so little next to him..hahaha

Too cool! Can't wait until the 26th! Fantasmic with the Dragon AND Halloween Screams.

Lilo & Stitch at WDW scared the daylights out of my DS last summer and we had to leave mid-show... I hope he'll be OK with Fantasmic... He is a year older. We have dessert buffet seating so I'll have to be sure he is prepared.

Kelly (Daisuke) told me last night that when Malificent went up the excitement in the crowd was tangible, and when Mickey killed the dragon everyone cheered. Sounds like it was a fun crowd.
