I've read lots and lots of threads about the Fantasmic package and how hard it seems to be to get. AND I'm not really thrilled about the restaurant choices for the package, so I was thinking that if we are going in February, maybe it's not even really necessary??:confused3 I've never been to the Fantasmic show so I can't really picture the size of the seating arena.

I would prefer to eat at 50's Prime Time (or Sci-Fi or another suggestion) and then go to Fantasmic, but the idea of waiting in line for an hour or more is not something that we will want to do.

Has anyone else been in February (low crowd level times, not the Presidents Day week)?

Thanks so much!:flower3:

BUMP we are doing the Sci-fi drive in then hoping to get in to see Fantasmic without much waiting. Going Feb 17th 2011.

Personally I did not think that the Fantasmic package was worth it. They still tell you to arrive very early, and when we did get there, the reserved section was way off to the side of the stage. There were actually a lot of better non-reserved seats when we arrived.

How badly do you want to see Fantasmic?

Personally, I'd play the odds of a second show being added---you can see the second one much more easily, and can then eat wherever you like.
