Fantasmic dinner voucher

Hi: Are people being able to use the free magicyourway dining credit for the fantasmic dinner voucher at the mgm restaurants that offer this.

I booked the Fantasmic Dinner Package for my trip in September. No...it is not covered by the MYW dining.

I just booked FDP w/ Mama Melrose this morning & was told I could not use the MYW dining for it.

I booked by step daughters trip for her in March and I booked the Fantasmich Dinner Package on her dining plan with no problems. I am going in August and I booked it for myself no problems, BUT then called to change a ressie and Dis Dining Rep said "I noticed your on the dining plan and have the Fantasmic Dinner Pkg booked" I replied yes and she said that its not allowed with the dining plan, so I cancelled. I am going to try and book it when we get there. It would be stupid to pay for the meal when we have the dining plan,Its just so fustrating because I know for sure it can be done because my step daughter did it and everything was fine.

Hey the same thing is true for the DDE card. I used it when I first got it back in January at Hollywood & Vine for the Fantasmic pkg, no questions asked, but when I went back in May and handed it to the waiter at Mama Melrose, I was told no discounts of any kind applied to the Fantasmic Pkg. When I told him I had used it in January for the pkg, he said that alot of CMs were not familiar with the rules when the AP holders were first allowed to buy the card, but now they have all been trained and have been told the Fantasmic pkg is not to be used with any discount or part of any pkg (including the dining plan).

I now have the free dining plan for our Sept trip. I made most of my ADRs at one time and the CM had asked me if we were on the Dining Plan. I told her yes. When I came to the ADR for Hollywood & Vine she made a point of saying 'You know you can't get the Fantasmic pkg using the free dining don't you? I have to specify if this ADR is for the Fantasmic Pkg'. So, I did the same thing you did and booked it without the pkg. If a waiter takes pity on us and gives us the voucher great, but if not it looks like we'll be standing in line. I just couldn't see paying for the pkg with the free dining plan.
