We're thinking about booking the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We love Fantasmic and think it would be nice to get really good seats without a hassle. We also love Brown Derby, so why not? How does it work - I've never really looked into this. Where exactly do they seat you? How much does it cost? I'd love to hear first-hand experiences.

Thanks

we were there last week and we did the Fantasmic dinner at Mama Melrose's.

For Mama Melrose's, there is a separate Fantasmic Package, price fixed menu. (I think the cost was $28.99/pp) We had only three people in our party. The party splits a brick-oven baked flat bread and a family style salad. Each person orders one entree each (and there are about 7 or 8 choices) and then each person gets a dessert.

After dinner, the CM gives you a special ticket to get into the Fantasmic Show along with directions to your special entrance.

Once at the show, as you face the "stage" the two sections at the very far right hand side are where you will be seated.

We really enjoyed our Fantasmic Dinner experience!!

Good info - I think we're going to do it w/Brown Derby as our restaurant choice.

Thanks

Iansmom, how long before Fantasmic started did you arrive? I know that they say only 30 minutes is necessary, but is that really realistic?

As long as you have the voucher from the dinner package, 30 minutes is plenty of time.

(Sorry I'm not Iansmom!)

Thanks. Maybe we can ride something while everyone else is in line.

yes, what Bob P said. We arrived about 30 minutes prior and seating had not filled up yet. I would say no later than 15 minutes prior though.

We ate at the Hollywood Vine...very good buffet, about $25 for adults. We got to the arena about 35 minutes before the show--the reserved area was to the far right. Unfortunately it started raining and Fantasmic was cancelled.

Did the Brown Derby in Feb. of this year. My SO and I loved it. The Brown Derby is now one of our favorite restraunts at WDW. We thought the price (can't remember what it was right now) was excellent for the quality of food and service that was provided to us. If you like martini's try the Tanguray dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives. Of course you have to pay extra for it but it was one of the best I have ever had.
