I asked this question at the end of another thread but nobody answered so here it is again.

If you do the FDP at BD and do not use the DDP is the menu still limited? If so, what is the limited menu, I could not find it on Allears website? If you use the DDP and use 2 TS credits then I would think that the menu should not be limited. Can anyone set me stright? Thanks,

I was also thinking that if the menu is not limited at BD then it might be better to pay OOP and have a fixed price then to waste 2 TS credits. What do you think?

TIA,

Loralie

I can't help about the menu, but after doing the math, I have always thought that paying out of pocket is the better way to go financially here. The FDP is only $38 per adult. Why waste 2 TS credits/ adult on one meal that costs the price of only 1 days' worth of credits?! Our family of 4 (2A, 2C + baby) can do the FDP for $100 plus tax & tip here. No way would I spend 8 TS credits for this. Hope that helps a little. Just my opinion...

We had the FDP at the Brown Derby in December. We were on the DDP, but paid out of pocket for our dinner. We ordered off the regular menu. We have eaten at the BD several times, with and without the package, and have never seen a limited menu.

the FDP at the Brown Derby is only $38 pre adult ????
Is that for one app., one entree. and one desert & drink (tax and tip)
That does seam like simple math ... 2TC vs. $38
We did the FDP for Mama Melrose a few years ago with 6 adults and 2 children and thought it was a bit expensive at the time for what you got and where you sat for the fireworks but perhaps we were at the wrong rest..

Yep! $38 per adult and I think only $11 (maybe $12) per child! It includes appetizer, entree & dessert but I believe I read no drink so you do have to pay for any beverage, tax & tip out of pocket. Still much better way to go than using 2 TS credits for this. Essentially, it would be wasting a whole days' worth of credits...
