Fantasmic Dinner Package Question

I have a trip planned from June 18-25 and noticed there are no dining reservations for the Fantasmic package after 4:00.

We went ahead and booked a lunch at Mama Melrose but curious if something has changed with regards to not offering the package for dinner. In the past, we did a dinner and attended the show.

Might have to do with the time of the Fantasmic show.

We were there in the fall with a 7:30 Fantasmic and they had dinners at least until 6:30. It created a mess because anyone with dinners from 5ish on couldn't make the 1st Fantasmic (they originally scheduled it at 8:30 ish and added the 7:30 show). They did end up giving out tickets to the later show but it was a bit of a mess leading up to it. They are probably trying to prevent it from happening again

I have a 6ish-PM dinner at HBD in mid-May (only one Fantasmic showing at 9 PM). It's possible the later times might be booked for your dates.

People do cancel, and with the new SW fireworks (and likely continuing dessert party), it might be a good idea to check once the fireworks times are officially released. It would be tight for us if they're at 8, so imagine there will be some parties that would cancel later reservations to grab a fireworks spot.

I was thinking about the past Tuesday time during some weeks in March (8 PM), but it looks like that isn't true all the time. However, when there are two Fantasmic showings it looks like they would be before the later one?

I am probably completely wrong-- I'm sleep deprived from the ROL dining package watch

REGARDLESS if fireworks were early (like 8) I would think some might cancel 7-8 PM dining reservations; if they're later for the summer hours then its probably less likely that this would happen. Good luck OP, sorry for semi-derailing your thread!

Actually we booked all ADR's on first day allowed as we always do. That is reason for the question, there has never been an option to book past 4:00 during that time period.

Same thing in late April. Nothing past 4pm.

I had the same question - it was the same for me in July. Actually, Hollywood and Vine had reservations up until 4:40.

As someone above posted, this probably means they are planning (or leaving the option) to expand Fantasmic to two showings, with the first one earlier, and thus wanting to make sure everyone's easily done in time to get to the show.

There's definitely something weird going on. We booked Hollywood & Vine for the Minnie character dinner at 180 days. When we tried to switch, our DVC guide told us that they couldn't book anything after 4:30 nor could they switch our reservation. Because I'm obsessive, I kept checking the site. Eventually, a 5:30 opened up for 2, but there was never anything after 4:30 for a party of 5 for our days. I actually had a Disney crisis resolution person helping me with something else, and she couldn't even find out why they weren't booking for regular dinner hours on certain dates. It's a recent change, and it's inconsistently implemented.

Hmm. Dusk doesn't occur until after 8:30 in July. With F! currently scheduled for 9:00, I don't see how they could add a second show earlier.
