I could have sworn you could use your dining plan credits to reserve a Fantasmic! dinner package. But when I try to make my reservation, I'm told "Select Disney Dining Plans Not Accepted." Really? This isn't just a glitch with the new site, is it?

One other question: I understand that the show doesn't start until 7:30pm, but the only times to choose from for any of the restaurants for the dinner package offer only 12:00 or 3:30pm. I thought there would be dinner-time options as well...?

So confused. :confused3

By "select Disney Dining Plans Not Accepted" I believe they really mean "quick service dining plan not accepted." I think it says that for all table service restaurants.

I *think* the last dining package time is 3 hours before show time. So, if the show is 7:30, they might have ADRs up until 4:30. But, those last hour ones might be gone already.

If it was me, I'd take the 12:00 one and be very happy with a nice TS lunch, and then grab a quick dinner at Fairfax before going into F! .

Hmmm... but when I log in, it has my DxDP info there. Strange... think I'll call and make the reservation over the phone. We'll shoot for a 3:30 ADR. Actually have an 11:40 ADR at 50s Prime Time, and I now by kiddos would be disappointed if we canceled it. We may not be starving, but we'll get what we need to hold us over and supplement with snacks later, if necessary.

Thanks for your reply! :)

Laura - were you able to call and get the F!DP on your DxDDP? I just had the same question! Didn't see where I can use my DxDDP instead of a CC res. like I've been able to do for other restaurants in the past.

I was able to reserve this for a November date and nothing indicated to me that DDP would not be accepted. The only excluded dining plan was QS, which would be expected.

Did you book online or by phone? If you did it online, when it asked for your CC#, were you able to link it to your dining plan or did you just enter a CC#? I can't figure out if there is a way to link it. Maybe I just don't need to?

The Fantasmic! Dining Package is NOT a pre-paid reservation so it doesn't matter whether you have a dining plan or not. For pre-paid reservations at CRT and the 3 dinner shows you can link your dining plan so you don't have to pay in full when you make the reservation. This is not the case for the F!DP which is why you can't link your dining plan when making the reservation.

For the F!DP you pay when you dine and at that time you can use your dining plan credits or pay OOP.

The F!DP DOES require a credit card hold for any of the 3 restaurants because of the cancellation policy. It has a 2 day in advance cancellation deadline.

That makes sense! Thank you very much!
