Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose

Hooray!!! the 180 day mark has arrived. But, to my dismay we are unable to book the Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose for any time after 3:00 pm on any day of our vacation. Times are available for dinner only at Mama Melrose and the other restaurants on the dinner package; but I find it hard to believe all package reservation times are all booked already after the 3:00 pm slot exactly. I called Disney reservations and they couldn't understand either why. Does anyone on here know of any special event at Mama Melrose the first week or two in August or any other reason why not times are available?

That hasn't been uncommon for me. We usually try to get the F! Dining Pkg for 5:00 or after at H&V, but need to wait until closer to the date (this go 'round, it was at about 2 months out). Then, later times get released. Just keep checking back and no doubt, later times will become available.

I have never been able to get a reservation much past 3:30 for a dining package at HS. To my knowledge, this is how they get people to fill the restaurant throughout the entire day, particularly during the 2/3 o'clock hours.

We've never done it before but are planning on trying to get a Fantasmic Package at MM for our trip in August. I'd be interested to see if you have had any luck with better times or found out any further information over the last couple of weeks. Our ADR day is Wednesday.

When I called (and take this with a grain of salt) they nice girl told me that I could not get a dinner package anymore but I could get the Fantasmic package and have a late lunch (14:30 hour).

Same situation here. I made an ADR for 3 pm at Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic package, but I'll probably cancel it. I was looking for 5 pm or 6 pm.

I have never been able to get a reservation for dinner past 3pm at Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Package. It annoyed me so much, that I just started doing a fast pass for Fantasmic and eating dinner at a reasonable time. Worked out great the last few trips.

Can you get a Fantasmic package for a regular lunch or does it have to be that late? We don’t really want to eat at 2:30 or 3 and would rather not have to use a FP for it unless we could score one late in the day.

This seems to be the norm these days from what I understand. I will tell you that we were able to score Fantasmic fast passes up to 5 minutes before the show after canceling our fantasmic package that gave us great seats

You should be able to, but I imagine they go pretty quickly.

Booked a 12:00 fantasmic lunch at MM today. I was psyched to hear that the Dis guys gave it a great review on the the dining show last week too!
