Fantasmic dinner package and scooter question

I just booked the dinner package and had to get Hollywood and Vine. Lady said to go to the theater 45 minutes before the show and you get in front of the long lines. I've never been before and have a question - since I'll be in my scooter, I won't be able to sit in the regular reserved seating for the dinner package, right? Will disabled seating be filled up 45 minutes before the show starts? Is it worth the dinner package if you can't take advantage of the special seats? Is there a place in reserved seating for wheelchairs and scooters or only in the general area? TIA

The reserved area for guests traveling with ECVs and wheelchairs is the entire back row, including the section thst is reserved for the dinner package. We have never used the dinner package. Some people like it verymuch because they can come later than they would otherwise. Other people feel it is not much of a benefit for guests with wheelchairs and ECVs since you will still be in the back row.

If you do use it, do get there however long you are told to before the show starts. At a certain point, they do start directing guests to the reserved section whether or not they used the dinner package.

SueM, thank you for your reply. I was wondering if anybody else who uses a scooter has any experiences with the Fantasmic dinner package and if they thought it was worth it since the seating is in the back anyway.....any experiences are appreciated. :goodvibes

We have a son who uses a whelchiar and for us personaly, it is not worht the package. Our son does not like the food at the location that has the dinner package so we alway eat and then get in line about 30 minutes ( we go in April so it's not very bussy) and we never have a hard time getting a seat. We do sit in the back and if you get there early enogh you can get in the center row wich is for us the best view.

DW and I have done both the package and walk-up. DW uses an ECV and we sat in the same place. When you consider the restricted menu and the extra charges (~$10 per), the package just isn't worth it.

less waiting time. Remember, now there is not as many shows as it the past; so, a lot of shows are more crowded.

Most people who use scooters can get off of them and walk some distance. If you are one of those people you can park your scooter where the CM tells you in the theater and you get a non handicap seat if you want one. It's up to you if you want to transfer or not.

I'm not a Hollywood and Vine fan, but we are doing it with Mama Melrose and I love the package deal with them; because, it includes an appetizer.
