Fantasmic Dinner Package/ADR/DDE info

Just what happened to me:

I made an ADR for H&V, and specifically did not request the Fantasmic package. When we got to H&V, the hostess mentioned that we were getting the Fantasmic package, and when I told her that I hadn't requested it, she smiled and told me that she'd pop it on anyway. OK, that was sweet.

But then, at the end of the meal, my DS handed our server the DDE card for the discount, and was told that she couldn't use it with the Fantasmic dinner package. It took us a moment to get that straightened out.

I understand, I guess, if you are eating at the other Fantasmic package restaurants on the very limited menu, not being able to use the DDE. But H&V is a buffet, so you pay the same regardless (wonderful food, by the way - we really loved it!) and when I made the ADR, no one mentioned NOT being able to use the discount (or the Fantasmic package, for that matter). I'm glad we straightened it out, but wanted to mention this for others who may run into this.

Also, we did use the pass, but it's a VERY long walk from Oscars to the Fantasmic seating area. Just an FYI.
