Have been to Hollywood and Vine 2001 for the Fantasmic Dinner Package - enjoyed the show - of course, but thought dinner was very average - and felt that we were rushed. Would like to try Mama Melrose - I love seafood pasta, or Brown Derby - will have a 9 yo picky eater in tow - who only eats cheese and tomato pizza - no bits- and chicken strips - not together.

Any comments good or bad welcomed.

I liked Brown Derby (and they have chicken strips for kids). I thought the food was well done and the service was impeccable. Have never been to Mama Melrose, so can't judge.

have never been to Brown Derby, but did Fantasmic package at Mama Melrose in August, and we liked it. Seemed kid frinedly, well, there were lots of kids there at least. They have the wood burning ovens and pizza (but not like delivery, the stuff that is "good" to most people, now me, I love Papa John's! bad habit from college, cheap and greasy!!!)

you can look at menus for both at www.wdwig.com if you want an idea of what they offer.

also, I don't know if this is important to you, but I think Brown Derby may be a bit more expensive than Mama's. Mama's is by the Muppet shop and Christmas shop, so fun stuff to look at if you have to wait a bit (like 10 min for us, but we were late checking in for PS).

hope you have a great trip!
