Fantasmic dinner at scifi dine?

I thought I read somewhere that you can get a Fantasmic dinner at the sci fi dine. Is this true? What if I already have AR and I am on the dinning plan?

I've heard this old rumor too but I've never seen anyone say they experienced this.

All my years on the DIS and no one has reported eating at either Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time for the Fantasmic package...

Also, you cannot use your dining credits with the Fantasmic package.

No, Sci-Fi is not one of the restaurants in the Fantasmic Dinner Package.
We were told that by the CM when we booked Sci-Fi for Aug. He also told us that the day we are going there are 2 shows for Fantasmic and to see the second show as it is less crowded.

1) It hasn't happened in years (AFAIK) but indeed during very busy times (or when one of the FP restaurants has gone down for whatever reason) they have had FP's at the Sci-Fi and the 50's PTC. I wouldn't expect it to return any time soon.

2) If there are two showings of Fantasmic!, then you really don't need the package. The 2nd show is almost never tough to get in to.

I made PS for the Fantasmic Dinner Package today for our trip in October. I asked specifically about the Sci Fi Diner and if it was available for the package but it wasn't! Real shane as we love it there and weren't too impresed with Hollywood and Vine when we went last time. As it turned out all the Dinner packages were fulll anyway so I booked Sci Fi and we'll have to queue!

I do not belive Fantasmic will have two shows when we are staying Sept. 23rd -Sept 29th.
When we want last in 2000 in the fall we had to stand during the show!
Just dont want that again!
