Fantasmic Dinner At H&v

We are doing the Fantasmic package at Hollywood & Vine. What can be expected? I have never eaten here is the food yummy? Our reservations are a little early 3:50 for a late lunch and then seats at the show. How are the seats, last time we went we actually stood the whole time in the very back. so seating is good Tell me more disboarders

You will get a lot of mixed reviews but our experience at H&V was horrible. Terrible food, terrible service...will not go back

I'm with MickeyNicki on this one. We've given H&V two tries and we will never go again--bad food and even worse service.

My experience at H&V was OK.

The food was what I would call typical buffet food. The atmosphere was a bit lacking for Disney. We ate there for really only one reason: guaranteed seats at Fantasmic with little wait.

The seats are not the best, but seats none the less. They are at the far right of the theater (when looking at the stage). It is a good view and allows you to exit fairly quickly as well!

I consider myself pretty High Maintenance I thought H&V was good. It's a buffet so i'm not sure what people are expecting. It's BUFFET! Buffet to means minimal interaction. Someone bringing drinks and that's about it. You do everything yourself. The food was good and the perfereed seating was great.

Have been there twice purchased the fantasmic dinner package (during free dining 06& 07). Food was o.k. Not disgusting not great, just average. Good selection...waitress does drinks, you do the rest. If you are looking at geting the bang for your buck or have eaters with healthy appetites ,this is a decent choice.

I had lunch there on Easter day last yr and thought it was great for a buffet. The service was great, food was good. I'm a vegetarian and found the meatless offerings yummy and plentiful.

We had an early dinner as part of the Fantasmic package last September, 2007, and we thought it was the best meal of our whole Disney week! We're vegetarian and we found plenty to eat on the buffet, and the desserts were lovely to look at AND deliciious. Our server was very pleasant and polite and helpful. It rained that afternoon and evening, and after we took our seats for Fantasmic, we listened to a recording played over and over, saying the show MIGHT be cancelled due to the inclement weather. We sat there in the pouring rain, lightning, and thunder, not wanting to give up. Disney made a fortune on the ponchos, beer and food they sold to the waiting crowd, and they finally called the show off at 9:30. If it hadn't been for the great meal we'd enjoyed at H&V, that night could've ruined our whole vacation. Hopefully in two weeks, when we go again, we'll have better luck with Fantasmic, but at least we'll be having dinner at H&V again!

We have done the Fantasmic Dinner Package three times at H&V and we love it. I am so disappointed we can't get one this time.

We have done H&V twice, once for character brkfst and once for the dinner package. Happy both times, food was good, not great, not going to write home about it. We had excellent service both times, drinks filled before they were empty, plates taken away quickly, no problems eating here again.

Yup, it's a buffet, and there was a lot on it, lots of choices! And the dessert buffet was a real indulgence, we don't usually eat sweets, but everything was so pretty, little bits of things, so you could try a few different treats without feeling piggy about it.

Not my favorite buffet at the parks, but we still do it for the Fantasmic Pkg (we have small kids and don't want to eat at the other two choices MM or BD). IMO the Fantasmic Pkg is worth it.
