Fantasmic Dining

When you book the Fantasmic Dining Package, are you able to just order off the menu at regular prices? Or is it a fix price deal? We don't have the DP, so I am trying to figure out if it is worth it?

There is no extra charge for the Fantasmic Pkg. You do need to mention upon making your ADR that you are booking the Package. Be aware, the seats for the package typically offer the latest dinner seating very early, usually before 5pm. There are also no rain checks, so if Fantasmic is cancelled, you are out of luck.

While there is no extra charge per se, you do pay a fixed price at Mama Melrose [which includes appetizer, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic drink] and Hollywood & Vine [buffet]. I'm not sure of the actual prices for 2011, but in 2009 it was $32.99 and $26.99 respectively. Brown Derby is ala carte.

I don't know at the other restaurants, but at HBD, the Fantasmic package is a fixed price, but it allows you to order one app, one entree and one dessert from the regular menu (i.e., it's not a separate menu). I think it was $55+tax for each adult?

Yes ....this...

Ds18 and I did HBD May 2010 F! Dining. It was about $110 ...got tuna and crabcake appy's... I got filet, DS got Chicken. Grapefruit cake and banana toffee type dessert...

food was okay....but weirdly enough I enjoyed H&V better ! Maybe from Louisiana we have odd food tastes... I thought the crab cakes too bread-y... my filet not very tasty...grapefruit cake a bit tasteless and DS's chicken dry.... I did like the tuna appy and DS's dessert....

Fam of FIve did H&V Buffet F! package back in May 2008 and a set buffet price.

I LOVE the F ! dining package... can't wait to try MM Next....

How I understand it is that it isnamset price for appy, entree, dessert, and drink. We are eating the Hollywood Brown Derby at the end of May and it is $58 per person. It is anything off the menu....no special menus at all.

Yes, you can use the dining plan: 2 table credits for HBD or 1 table credit for H&V or MM. HTH!

Hollywood Brown Derby is two credits whether you use the DDP or not and yes, you can use the DDP credits for the F! Dinner package. The F!Dinner package is 1 TS credit for Hollywood and Vine and Mama Melrose. We have done both MM and H & V. We love the F! Dinner Package.
