I'm trying to make Fantasmic dining ressies at the River Belle Terrace for an upcoming trip. We would really like to see the first Fantasmic show. Do you get to pick which show you want to see? Do they run out of the early show passes quickly? Thinking about booking a 6:40 ressie. Do you think that will work for our early show plans?

Thanks!

When I did the River Bell Terrace Fantasmic Package, when I scheduled it online it didn't give me a specific "first" or "second" showing time. But when I arrived the hostess asked which show I'd like to see and I told her, then before my waiter brought out the passes he confirmed that the hostess had recorded it correctly. This was a few months ago, but I'd assume its the same.

When I did Blue Bayou it assigned a specific show when you registered online. (Although when we got there we requested the 2nd show instead and they gave it to us because the 2nd show hadn't "sold out") I believe any dining time before 7 was automatically assigned the earlier showing.

Here is my review of the River Belle Terrace:

Hope you have a great time!

When we did the dining package at RB two weeks ago we were asked at reservation check in which show we'd like. Our reservation was a bit earlier though, 4pm.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experience for the River Belle Fantasmic dining package. I went ahead and booked the 6:40 time slot. Hoping for the best!

I just did this package last month. The food was alright but not the greatest.

The front row seat and I mean front row right in front of the island and right behind the metal railing was worth it. I could feel the sprays and the heat of the flames. Best view possible!

To me the best show in Disneyland and DCA.

Well worth the price of the dinner package!

Riverbell. I got ribs, tots, beans. My wife got the half chicken with tots and slaw. My 2 little ones got kids meals.

Got both dragon desserts. Spicy in the middle. It was different but alright I guess?

You check in in front haunted mansion about an hour before the show.

Very Very important!!!!
Bring blankets to sit on. I only had 2 baby blankets. So wife and I sat on the bare concrete.

Enjoy the show!!

Oh I noticed a couple people tearing after the show. I guess they got emotional?

Thx for the info, but unfortunately, there will be no blanket for me as I am an East coast guest. I doubt the DLH would appreciate me bringing one of theirs...

While the BB package comes with a firm foam cushion to sit on, I've seen similar cushions available for purchase (either in the parks, at WOD, online at ShopDisney.com, or on the ShopParks app) if you don't do the BB package. The cushions aren't too hard to carry in a tote bag or to fit in a locker during the day. The cushions aren't super thick, but they do make a nice difference when sitting on the concrete. There are inflatable seat cushions, available on Amazon.com and on other sites, which can be rolled up in a backpack or tote bag until needed. So if sitting on the concrete is a problem, there are more possible solutions than bringing or buying a blanket.

Yes, right after I posted, I thought about bringing a cushion from home. I can make that fit in my luggage. I have sat on the concrete before, and it's not fun!

The cushions we received at Blue Bayou last Sunday were one inch thick but not particularly firm. I would have been more comfortable with two of them.

But they aren't exactly memory foam, either. The word "cushion" isn't the most accurate description for them. But they are a welcome layer between your person and the concrete!
