Fantasmic dining packages for October?

Hi all! I was just looking for Fantasmic dining packages for early October, and found zero availability for any restaurant. Have packages not been released for those dates yet? Thank you!

Is the package worth the extra money? We reserved one year and there were storms and since it was the last day of our trip we didn’t even get to go

I have done both with the package and without the package. To me the package is worth it because I get a decent seat without having to sit for 45 min. before the show - I can either catch another ride or shop and then leisurely find a decent spot sort of in the middle of the show area without having to camp out in a row and then squishing at the end to allow more people in.

We like doing the package. I'll be booking it again for our October trip. I like that there are choices in terms of price points and restaurants. We figure that regardless we will still need to have dinner and would most likely book a sit-down awayways. The bonus of potentially not waiting as long for seats makes it worth it.

I did the package last month. I'd never seen Fantasmic before so wanted to get a good seat. The food was meh (I did Mama Melrose, so if you do a different restaurant YMMV there). Having the package was great, got to walk past the long line and got a really decent seat. I won't do it every time, but it was nice so I got to experience Fantasmic for the first time pretty up close and centered.

I booked yesterday for 5th October (50s Prime Time), so those were definitely released. I didn’t check other locations.

I read that 50s prime time works out about $9-$13 more per person, so it depends how much you value the time and seating. We were also considering Mama Melrose which is around $5-$7 extra, but didn’t hear great things about the food recently.

We did Mama Melrose last year and it was really good so guess depends on the day.
Don’t they tell you to show up way early even with your package?

It’s still quite early, but with the package you can arrive 25 mins before the start and it guarantees good seating. With general seating people start waiting 90 mins early to get good seating and they advise at least 45-60 mins early to make sure you get in.

Dreams Unlimited got us a reservation for SciFi Dine Inn for Oct 4 for our Fantasmic Pkg. Haven't done the package before but did see the show years ago. Was worth the wait! This is a first for SciFi Dine Inn for us. Sounds so cute! Not expecting a lot from the food but should be OK. I think the Fantasmic Pkg was a good option for us.

I did the Fantasmic package last week at Sci-Fi.

We got to Fantasmic a little over an hour early and got seated in about the 5th row. We could have sat closer but I like being on an aisle. We could have arrived awhile later and still gotten a pretty good seat. It was worth it for our family. Attached are some photos of our view of Fantasmic.

With the dining package, what would you suggest is a good time to head to Fantasmic?
