Fantasmic Dining package

I have it booked for 6:30 and Fantasmic is at 8:30. Is that cutting it too close? It's at Hollywood and Vine if that matters. I also have small kids. I was able to reserve a second one for 3:55 but that's pretty early. I hadn't realized we needed to arrive 25 minutes early when I booked it.

Also do you get charged if your whole party isn't there for dinner. Or is it like any other reservation where you're only charged the no show rate if nobody shows up. And has anyone had a RotR boarding group overlap with it and how did that work out?

No, you should be out by 8, no problem. Its a buffet, so you can eat at your own pace. Its waiting for the characters that takes time, but their rotation is one of the fastest Ive seen on property.

The walk to Fantasmic is not far, youll be fine. The seating section is reserved so you'll get in no matter what time you arrive. You may be sitting close to the top if youre too late, but that could be a blessing, because if your on the bottom, youre the last one out and some times it could take 20 minutes to get out of the stadium, then youre last to the ferry or tram to the parking lot.
