Fantasmic Dining Package

I originally booked this with no dining plan, and I was told by member services that it included an appetizer, entree, dessert and beverage.
But now I am on the Basic dining plan. Does that mean that we will no longer get the appetizer that was included when I booked it w/o DDP?

The Fantasmic Dining Packge is its own entity. You will indeed get an appetizer, entree, and dessert here, regardless of whether or not you are on the Dining Plan. Happy eating!

When I booked this package, I had not decided if we were doing the DDP yet.I told the CM it seemed like a rip off to use 2 TS for this (thinking $37/day) but he said it is $47/adult and $12/kid which includes App., entree, desert,drink and tip at the H brown Derby. But the $37/day for the DDP includes snack CS and TS. So you have to decide is it worth paying out of pocket when it includes everything or using 2 TS. I guess I will use the 2 TS; but maybe I should just pay out of pocket and save my 2 TS for later. The only thing is we are doing Spirt of Aloha and are paying out of pocket so we can have Category 1 seating. What would you do?

Truthfully, we don't think Brown Derby is worth two credits. You could try one of the other one credit establishments (Hollywood & Vinen or Mama Melrose).

I agree we also did not think Brown Derby was worth 2 table service credits. I'm glad we went once, but will probably not go again.

I think it really just boils down to how many credits you have left. Also, if it's a "must do" you should just do it regardless of whether or not it's the best use of your TS credits. I think, though, that either way you'll get a great meal.

I agree with the PP that it is up to you. If you have other TS places that you want to eat at, you can just save your TS credits for something else, i.e. another 2 TS or a TS for breakfast and dinner. Lots of options.

I don't remember about the gratuity, but using DDP, we did get appetizers, entree, and dessert as part of the Fantasmic package. Appetizers are included regardless if you "pay" OOP or via DDP. Again, I don't remember about the gratuity part. I want to say I paid gratuity, but was that included. I feel cheated then

Good luck on your decision. You can decide when you get there too. If you are still uncertain, I would make back up dining reservations that you can cancel later. Just in case.

We did the Fantasmic Package and it was great to not have to wait in the LONG line and just walk in.

As far as I know, Hollywood & Vine and Mama Melrose's Fantasmic Dining Packages are still 1 dining credit each. I haven't heard anything to the contrary.
