I just reserved it for August 7th at 4 P.M. at Hollywood & Vine. Sucks that the show isn't until 9 P.M but oh well :)

We will be celebrating our sons 2nd birthday that day so I thought we'd go out with a bang for him. He is going to L-O-V-E it!

So is Hollywood & Vine good? Or should I try Mama Melroses? There will be 7 of us total eating. We are on the deluxe dining plan so cost doesn't matter. I don't want to try Brown Derby because it takes away 2 credits instead of just the one :)

I'm so excited about this one particular reservation. I have wanted to see Fantasmic for a loooooong time!!!

We thought Mama Melrose had better food than Hollywood and Vine. We did our Fantasmic dinner package there.

You might want to consider booking the character breakfast or lunch at Hollywood and Vine for your 2 year old for his birthday. He would really enjoy it - it is a lot of fun!

Also, fyi, Fantasmic can be a little intense for little ones. My DD was a little over four when we saw it and was scared and wanted to be held during parts of it.

We actually have a character breakfast at Chef Mickey's that morning. I think for lunch we will probably just do something counter service.

I have seen on You Tube parts of Fantasmic. I can see where some parts may be intense. Thanks for the heads up :thumbsup2

There are many "Fantasmic Package" threads and you will see a lot of reviews of the three restaurants that you can use for the package. Personally, we don't like H&V after two horrible visits and will not go back. We always do Mama Melrose. There is not much good (if anything0 in way of a counter service at Hollywood Studios).

We did the Fantasmic Package last month at Mama Melrose and wer very pleased. I had seen mixed reviews and wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I had the Spaghetti Fra Diablo and DBF had the salmon. Both were excellent. Our waitress, Emily was great and the table that we had was in the back which was a little quieter. Based on what I've read about Hollywood and Vine I don't think we'll ever go there.

Uh Oh
What have you read about Hollywood & Vine? And where can I find it?

You are going to get alot of reviews for H&V. Our family likes it since it is a buffet and there are lots of options. We have ate at all the resturants available with the package and while the others are good...honestly none of the them are over the top. Just depends on what your looking for.
