Fantasmic! Dining package vs. FP?

I made an ADR for Mama Melrose lunch at 12:30 on July 6th, figuring we could leave park after and return when it cools down to do more stuff and see the show. Truly not all that jazzed about the food or the price. So, how likely is it that we could get a 4th FP for the earlier show, assuming parks will be super busy? How much more waiting would that involve? And are the seats a lot better for dining pkg vs. FP? I guess that's 3 questions, lol.

My personal opinion is that it is worth it to do the dining package for Fantasmic! I think the seats are much better--but I'm probably pickier than most. I've done the FP seats once.

I've done the package with Mama Melrose twice, and Brown Derby once. I will say that the only reason I did MM those times, it's because we were actually going to run a Disney race the following morning--so an Italian restaurant was our chance to "carbo load." The food was fine--not the best Italian food I've ever had, but not bad in any way.
Brown Derby, however, is excellent. The time I did the Fantasmic! package at Brown Derby we were not there for a race--so we just ordered whatever we wanted I was there with my brother (adult) and we both agreed it was the best meal we had our entire trip.
