Fantasmic Dining Package Times?

Last year I was able to book Fantasmic Dining Package reservations at both Mama Melrose and Hollywood and Vine for dinner around 5:00 (two different nights).

I am in the process of making reservations again for this coming July and it appears that the only thing available at this time is the lunch package at MM with the latest time of 3:10 (there is nothing for Hollywood and Vine yet).

Does Mama Melrose no longer have a Fantasmic Dining Package for dinner?

I am guessing/hoping that since I am just a day or two into my 180 day reservation window, that it is to early for H&V to have times setup...

Thanks for any comments/answers!

I went to book mine on the first day it was available at the Brown Derby and the latest I was able to get was 4:25 PM.

For some reason, NO H&V lunch or dinner reservations are available starting May 14. This is both regular ADRs and F! packages.

If you look at various days in the first 2 weeks of May, you will see some days that have package ADRs as late as 5:00 (or close to it).

Keep checking, here and Disneyworld.com to see when they open them up. We are trying to get the H&V dinner package in mid Aug.

No clue as to why there is a delay.

I went to book mine on the first day it was available at the Brown Derby and the latest I was able to get was 4:25 PM.

Brown derby, as a signature restaurant, is assumed to be a slower pace than Melrose and H&V, so the latest package time available is 4:30. Melrose and H&V have 5:00 as the last time, generally.

Thanks for the replies so far...

I just checked again for a few different dates at the end of July and beginning of August and the latest time for Brown Derby is 4:30, while for some reason it's 3:10 at Melrose and still nothing listed yet for H&V (I'm still assuming there are no times at all because of the seasonal characters and nothing is set yet by Disney).

We will be on the dining plan, so the use of a TS credit at Mama Melrose is a big benefit because of the included app and FP to Fantasmic.

the F! packages often lag way behind the regular 180 day window and they do NOT hold back ADRs from the participating restaurants for the package... so you get what you get when it becomes available. If MM has been open for a while (math is hard? not sure how far from 180 days you are looking lol) it could be that the prime times are booked up with non F! ADRs too.

It took quite a while for the packages to open for our trip Feb/Mar. We actually booked two-one at MM which opened about a month after our 180 days and one at HBD which did not open for another month. I had a request in with IPO and they handled it just before they shut down.

I'm right at my 180 day window so I don't think it is an issue with all the later times already being booked...if they don't hold back any times, then it looks the 3:10 for Mama Melrose will be the latest. It's funny, because they call it a "Dinner" package, but the actual 3:10 reservation confirmation e-mail says "lunch". :scared:

Thanks for letting me know. I just booked a 5:00 Fantasmic package for early August. Looks like H&V's latest Fantasmic reservations times are 5:00, MM is 3:10 and Brown Derby is 4:30.

Just curious... has anyone since been able to book MM past 3:10 for August ( specifically 4:00 or later)

I am also curious if anyone in the past has seen later times open up closer to the date. I haven't seen anything later than 3:00 for an Aug F! Package for MM

You might want to try the Pixar and F! combo package (need to call for it). While, trying to book a F! only package, the latest I was able to get was around 5:00 at H&V. But, when Pixar F! combo package came out last week or so, I got a 6:15 H&V for the combo

This post popped up from the dead!

See the above post...

I changed my 3:00 MM Fantasmic reservation to a 6:15 Pixar AND Fantasmic package. If on the dining plan, it's still only 1 TS credit, but if paying out of pocket, it's $50. Great use of 1 TS if on dining plan as it includes app and "fast passes" to both Pixar and Fantasmic shows.

"Music of Pixar Live and Fantasmic Dining Package for Lunch or Dinner includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, and a non-alcoholic beverage at a cost of $50 for adults and $21 per child for kids ages 3 to 9 (or one Table Service Credit on the Disney Dining Plan), along with guaranteed seating for The Music of Pixar Live! and Fantasmic! the same day."

Thanks PrincessArlena's dad for the suggestion! I was able to book the Pixar package but when I called to switch to the Pixar / fantasmic there wasn't any availability after 2:30 at MM I'm going late August But I'm good with the Pixar concert... something new !
