Fantasmic Dining Package at Brown Derby

Hi -

I am getting conflicting information when I search about this. If we book the Fantasmic dining package at Brown Derby, with a dining time of 2:40 p.m., will we pay a fixed price or can we just order off the menu and pay for whatever is ordered? I know that the other restaurants are a fixed price.

It is price fixed. Brown Derby has same menu for lunch and dinner and you will select appetizer, entree, dessert from their menu.

You're paying for the guaranteed seats at F!, so you pay the fixed price for the package and then order what you want (app, entree, dessert, and drink).

If on the DDP, this package still takes 2 TS credits whereas H&V and Mama's are only 1 TS credit. The fixed price for those two is also significantly cheaper.

We did this last Sat.and were on the deluxe dining. We picked our app., entree and dessert from the regular menu.

However the $40 filets came out cold, the kids meals hot and the manager never showed when we complained. We just wanted them to be aware of the problem. Had the food been hot it would have been great. And we had to wait over half hour to be seated and then finally left the restaurant 1.5 hours after being seated. I would not go back.

I highly recommend the F! Dinner Package at BD. It's a must for me every trip. BD is absolutely one of the best restaurants on property and is, imo, the best in-park dining there is. Here are so tips on the dinner package:

As it is pre-paid, you can order ANYTHING on the menu. See that Cobb salad for 2? It counts as one app. There is a 6oz and 8oz fillet. Get the more expensive 8oz one, it doesn't cost any more! Want soda with your meal and then coffee or tea with dessert? All non-alcoholic beverages are included, so you can do it.

For the $50-$55 (whatever it is), it's really worth it.

it is fixed price (it was about $60 for adult and i can't recall what we paid per child $40 I believe) , or the table credits if on dining plan.

we got to select the apps., entree, dessert, and beverage from the regular menu. but the price is fixed.

it was very, very, very busy but naturally so because of Fantasmic.

We did a 5:30pm dinner at the Brown Derby with the Fantasmic package this Wednesday. It was great! The filet was much better than the one I had the night before at Jiko.
