Fantasmic Dining Package apps???

Are appetizers included with the Fantasmic Dining Package at Brown Derby? I know apps used to be included but I have heard mixed reports about the package lately. Thanks!

Disney's website now says it is just entree and dessert. We cancelled our reservation. Not worth the price without the app.

Nope -- no more apps. We were just there a couple weeks ago. It was the entree and they do 2 desserts.

I'm helping a friend with her dining. 4 days to go. I suggested Fantasmic Dining but without the appetizers at that price, I don't know if it's worth it.

Nope. With DxDP you get a Buffet or a Dining Package as the entitlement. They treat packages like buffets or AYCTE, and much like either, you don't get something "extra" because you're on DxDP.

Yes, you still get an appetizer and the option to order an alcoholic drink with the package.

I spoke to a CM in dining tonight. I asked if someone was on the deluxe dining plan would they still get their apps for the Fantasmic dining package. The response was yes. She stated if someone was on the Disney Dining Plan or paying w/ cash, they would not get an appetizer.
