I plan on making ADR's for a Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose's. We will not be on the dining plan. My 2 y.o. DS will be w/ us. I'm guessing he does not have to order anything and can simply share w/ me and/or DH since he's under 3, correct? But, if we wanted to order something for him, would he HAVE to get the child's Fantasmic Dinner (i.e. entree and dessert for $10.99) or could we order some item off the regular menu for him?

When we ate there this past November, we did the Fantasmic package. I didn't want to buy for my picky 6 year old and the waitress told me we all had to order off the special Fanasmic package.

But you child is under 3 so maybe they won't be as strict. Just ask when you get there but expect to pay the $10.99 and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised. The only way your child will be free though is if you don't order anything. Hopefully, since your child is under 3, they'll let you order anything on the menu for them, and that is my guess.

Your 2 yo will not require a ticket to get into the show. We went in June with our 2yo twins. We ate at Hollywood & Vine for the package with our older two kids and twins. We received the 4 show tickets and went into the show, all six of us, no questions asked. I think you can order anything you want for your 2 yo. since he will not need a ticket for the show. I hope this helps.

FYI...You get ONE voucher for your family to enter the show at the special Fantasmic Package entrance location. You do not get tickets for each member in your group.

Also, H&V is a buffet so kids under 3 are free and it's a non-issue. There is no menu. At MM though there is a set menu for those using the Fantasmic package. When you are 3 or older, everyone must order off this special menu to get the voucher for the Fantasmic package.

But I believe because the OPs child is under 2, they will let them order off the regular menu for the 2 year old...of course, you can also have your 2 year old share.

You're right. I forgot. We did receive one voucher for our family. Again, the point is that I believe a two yo is not required to purchase a full meal. :hippie:
