How much is the preferred seating for fantasmic/desert package? There is 2 adults and one child (7). Is it worth it?? Is the seating that good? Thanks

It would be more worth it if they let you pick your seats when you make and pay for the reservation. Then you wouldn't have to wait in line.
I agree it would be nice to have a way to get a front seat without waiting. But that is true for lots of things at Disney parks. Can you imagine if you could do this for other things too? And the stress it would place on those making calls at the moment reservations opened to get "their seat"?
But they already do this at WDW for Wishes/Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party. They assign the tables on a first-come, first-served basis when you call. If you want the rail, you need to call right away.
Yes, making reservations at 180+10 is a bit stressful and sometimes involves waking up early or rearranging your day slightly. But I didn't mind and would 100% have preferred it to the DLR system (which I still plan to use and wait in line to get the seats I want while my DH and kids play elsewhere).
We are four adults. If we get the back row, can we still see OK? If we have a chance to pick seats, but not in the front row, are there "second best" or other more desirable seats?
We're thinking of doing this during our trip in November. My dilemma is whether to get the first or third row seats. DH is 6'7" so sitting in the front row is going to block everyone behind him, but if we're in the back row DD5 may not be able to see very well.Suggestions/opinions would be appreciated! Thanks
