How quickly does the Fantasmic Dessert Package fill up??? Is it something thats tough to get for a specific date you are looking for or is it generally not too tough to get into if you call ahead of time? How early do you have to show up?? I've heard you go and "check in" Once checked in can you go and do rides around the park and just come back... whats the time frame like?? Thanks for any information or reviews!

It doesn't fill up quickly like in the past. You can get the seats when you are there during your visit if they are still available. Some of the DISers on the forum said that you can get tickets on the day of the show if it is available. Some people line up an hour or mostly line up a half hour to pick their seats for which time show they are watching. When you pick your seats, you can leave the area and do anything until it is time to check-in. You can show up a half hour early until the show you pick for the F dessert package.

You really want to call right at 8am (Pacific Time) 30 days out to get the first show. The day of the show, the person that paid (yes, you have to pay at the time of the reservation), goes to City Hall to pick up your tickets. You will need the credit/debit card used for verification. I believe we were told to check-in at 7:00pm???? You get in line & show your tickets. They show you the seating chart & you pick (or they do) your seats. We would have been the start to the 2nd row, so we chose to be in the 3rd row...so we could stand up to stretch & use our tripod without it blocking someone. You can leave for a bit but I wouldn't get too far, as this area gets very busy & moving from one place to the next can take quite a while. Around 8:30, you will take your tickets & check-in at your section. You will be seated & the CM's will come around & get your drink order (coffee, tea, water, soda, cocoa) & then bring you your dessert box filled with different sweet treats, fresh fruit & cheese.

I love having this option available......it was so nice not to have to wait around forever to be crowded for the show. There are 3 rows & that's it......

Unfortunately we won't be able to do it this trip as there are 10 of us......but I would if I could!!!!

You can call 30 days in advance of what day you are going to be there and do the F! dessert package. You can call anytime inside the 30 days in advance that you want to book the dessert package if it is available.

We went Wednesday and we purchased our tickets on Tuesday for the 9 pm show at City Hall. They do not give you a seat assignment until you check-in right before the show.

You are right about the prices for the dessert package. But children 2 and under don't have to pay. They can sit on the adult laps during the show.

The F! dessert seating area is right across the HM entrance and right by the Light tower 2 & 3. There are two areas of seating for the F! dessert package. One in the middle right next to Light tower 2 and one right by Light tower 3 right by the HM entrance. You check in right by the Churro stand by the HM entrance.

The black seats are the F! dessert package seating area. The picture is Light tower 2 and the other viewing area for the dessert package.

Wow, that's pretty pricey...I don't think I would do it, but thanks anyhow!

IMHO, WOC is more worth paying for than F!
