I did the Fantasmic dessert party in September this year and LOVED it. It is different from other dessert parties in that you essentially get a little picnic box filled with the desserts. I don't remember everything that was in there but there was some savory (crackers, cheese, and grapes I think) and some sweet (a brownie/cookie thing, an apple spice cake, a cheesecake bite with boboa balls). It includes a little bottle of water and an alcoholic drink (the tequila was too much for me.) There is also a flashing souvenir cup and a special flashing lanyard. The seating is dead center of the theatre. They do keep it roped off until closer to the show for the party. We got there about 45 minutes early and got great seats but we are very fussy about where we sit. I think it was totally worth it. And that apple spice cake was the best dessert I have ever eaten and I'm a chocoholic.
