Fantasmic crowded?

Hi ya'll,
We plan on seeing Fantasmic this next week, probably the 8th, and wondered in these "slower" nights how much before show time should we get in line? We are not doing the dinner package and don't need front row seats, just want to sit somewhere. Anyone been there in the last couple nights? Thanks!

even on slow nights/days, the night shows are pretty crowded. Show up an hour early for prime seating, 30 minutes early for average seating and show up at start for standing room.

I saw Fantasmic on Tuesday, November 30th. There was still seating available up until 5 minutes until showtime way down at the ends. I showed up around 25 minutes until showtime and was seated towards the middle.

They recommend anywhere between 30-45 minutes to get a decent seat. Showing up 25 minutes before showtime and getting seated in the middle would be a rare occurence I think.

I would say 20-30 minutes during slow times of the year. That is assuming you just want to get in, not necassarily be front & center.

It depends. When I went on November 28th, Fantasmic was at 7:00 PM and the park closed at 8:00 PM therefore there was enough time to go see the Osbourne Family Lights. They even reminded you after Fantasmic to go see them. However, usually Fantasmic starts at the closing time so there would be no time to go see them, but I believe for the holiday season they purposly scheduled Fantasmic one hour before closing.

We get there 1 1/2 hours early in the summer and 45 minutes early in the off seasons and usually get pretty decent seats.

We were also there on Nov. 30, tues. we walked in 5 min before the show started, and just got a seat, they were saying "standing room only". We also got out quickly and shopped around rode the great movie ride, and walked through the lights w/ very little crowds. Like everyone says plan on getting there 20- 30 min before. I was amazed at the people pouring in at the last minute I thought I was the only late one!!!

We were there on Dec 2 and showed up about 5 minutes prior. We were on the side but the view was as good or better than being in the middle up high, which is where we were last time. We did one last Who wants to be a millionaire at 6pm, followed by a stroll through the osborne lights and then to Fantasmic. It was perfect timing.....
