Do you have to guarentee these with a credit card if you are on the dining plan?

Yes. You will need to provide a credit card to make those reservations, but it will only be used to confirm the identity of your family (meaning your credits on your DP will be taken away) if you do not show up.

Yes you do. Even if your not on the dinning plan you must provide a cc to hold the ress.

And do they charge it right away? I just made a big payment on my card, but want to make ressies, and not enough room 'yet'.

If you're not on the dining plan, you pay for CRT in full at the time of booking. I am not sure about Fantasmic but it may be the same. If you ARE on the dining plan, both will take a credit card guarantee but it won't be charged unless you don't show up.
