I was wondering if we have a reservation for a Fantasmic Dinner package and Fantasmic is cancelled that evening due to weather, are our tickets good for another night??

policy is no for a ticket for another show.

You can stop by and ask for something at Guest Relations. You may get something else like a fastpass but highly unlikely you will get a F! entry for another day.

Not necessarily true that you won't get another ticket.

We and a family of friends we were vacationing with did the Fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood and Vine a few weeks ago for the 8:30pm show. The skies were looking pretty ominous at the time, so we asked our waiter what happens if they cancel. He said go to GS and see what they can do.

So yes, the skies opened up, it poured, and the show was cancelled.

We asked at GS if we could get a ticket for the next night (as it would be our last night at WDW before heading home) and they said yes. They also gave our friends tickets for the park because they had just used the last day of their four day ticket at DHS that day (my family has APs so that didn't matter).

We were not demanding or expecting anything...if GS said no, that would've been fine. But we appreciated the great customer service and the show the next night went off without a hitch capping off a great WDW trip for us. :thumbsup2

Maybe it depends on how busy it is?? I guess we'll just play it by ear. If anything the meal is probably less expensive than if we paid separately for it without the package. But then, we would probably not be eating at Mama Melrose if it weren't for the F package either. Thanks to you both!

There is no "upcharge" on your bill for the Fantasmic dining package, that seems to be a misconception that people think they are paying for the reserved seats. You are paying for your meal, same price as you would if not attending the show, but in return for reserving the "package" (and essentially guaranteeing them you will eat there) they provide a pass to the reserved section of seats - assuming you arrive at the ampitheater at least 30 minutes prior to show time. I'm not saying the package isn't worth the seats - particulary if you want to attend the early show and prefer to use the 2 hours doing something other than standing in line to get into the ampitheater. But it doesn't cost any extra for the Fantasmic! dining package. If weather is bad and the show is canceled, it doesn't hurt to ask at Guest Relations if they can do something.

Enjoy your vacation!
