We have a 3:40 ressie at Brown Derby/ 7pm Fantasmic Show Package for Dec. 20th (Monday).

I thought I read somewhere that the lines for the show at this time were non existant or very small.

I believe there is only one showing at 7pm.

Does anyone have exp. w/ this time of year?

I am wondering if it is necessary to do package??

Any reviews of Brown Derby would be appreceiated too. Thanks!

I can't answer any of your questions about Fantasmic when you are going, but my mother (54) and I (23) ate at the Brown Derby for dinner in October and it was fabulous. It was my favorite of the trip and my mother's second favorite (next to O'hana's). Once we were seated they took our drink order and then brought out some fabulous fresh rolls (with butter) we devoured those! The food came out extremley fast which was fine with us becuase we were hungry and hadn't eaten too much that day. I had the Stone Ground Mustard-Crusted Rack of Lamb and it was scrumptious. The lamb came with potatos and some really neat small squash. The presentation was so beautiful I took a picture. My mother had Roasted Pork Tenderloin and I tried that and I loved that as well...Once again it was a beautiful presentation. The atmosphere of the Brown Derby was also fun and the wait staff was very attentive there. We did not do the dinner package, but after we ate (we had 6:00ps and were done by 7:10ish) we went straight to the Fantasmic ampitheater and got a decent seat in the right center section up towards the front about 4-5 rows back. I'm planning on going back in January and I will be back at the Brown Derby for sure :)

We did the Fantasmic/BD package at the end of October. It was sooo worth it for us. We did it because one of our sons is autisitic and we knew that waiting in line was pretty much out of the question for us. Our meal there was our favorite of the week (followed closely by LeCellier). You can pick an appetizer, main course and dessert from the menu. DH had gazbacho soup, filet mignon, cream brulee. 14yoDS had lobster bisque, grouper and cream brulee. 7yoASDDS had a hotdog and ice cream. I had a crab cake, filet mignon with asparagus and cream brulee. It was all really yummy! DH and I also had martinis with our meal. Mine was a sweet martini and was especially good. After dinner, we had time for a couple of rides, then we went to Fantasmic. We arrived about 30 minutes before the show started, but we were seated right away. It was pretty funny how everyone entertained themselves. Lots of "the wave" happened in the audience. The show itself was wonderful!
