Fantasmic at HS

Hello.
I remember from few years back...
all we had to do is stand in line beforehand (and it was a long line)...
has things changed for this show ?? are we able to get FP for this ??? if we have no fastpass, how early should we start to lineup. Reason we cant plan for FP is that 3 famililies are meeting up and not sure which day will be best for all 3 families until that specific morning to head out to Hollywood studios.

We had a FP. Walked right in too. I enjoyed the pre-show and I loved the main event. I would imagine a weekday would be less busy.

As long as you have used yourfirst 3 FPs by early afternoon, you should be able to get a FP for F! as a 4th or 5th choice.

Otherwise you'll have to line up an hour or so before the show.

If we go to HS without a FP for Fantasmic, would there ever be a problem to see Fantasmic as we only have 1 day at HS just to see Fantasmic and I want to make sure we will see it (of course lining up if no FP)

You could do a fantastic lunch or dinner package which is a character lunch and save your fast pass

No there wouldn't be a problem. Line up 45 min-1 hour in advance and you'll be near the front of the pack.

The only issue that could come up with not being able to see it would be if you showed up super late and it's full, or weather shuts it down

If you don't have a FP+ or reserved seating from a dining package, the 2nd show will probably be your best option (assuming there are 2 shows that night).

They give you a voucher for fantastic reserved seating which is different from the fast pass seating as I am told. You return later that same night for the show.

But know it is really easy to get Fantasmic as a 4th FP later in the day. So unless someone already plans to eat in the park, dinner package isn't close to being needed.

Use your 3 passes then see about getting it as an extra. If not, just wait standby. We used all ours, went to see if any extra fast passes were available, wound up getting Fantasmic about an hour before showtime. Got the FP and then walked straight to the arena
