We want to squeeze both in on one night. Can't do the 10:30 fantasmic...too late with 4yo.

What strategy should we use to get both shows in?
How long does fantasmic last?
What vantage points should we use to get both in?
Should we stake out a spot for fantasmic about 2 hours in advance?

Thanks for any and all tips!

Seeing Fantasmic and getting back to Main Street to get a good spot for fireworks in front of the castle will not work.

You can stay seated near the Rivers of America and catch the fireworks from your Fantasmic spot. That's the only option I see.

Yep, you'd better stay put at the Fantasmic location. If you try to leave afterwards, there is only one way out, and then they direct you up Main Street. If you try to stop somewhere along the way, the CMs will tell you to keep moving. We tried it once and it definitely didn't work. The view for the fireworks isn't the best around the river, but there are a few effects that happen on the river and the island for the fireworks.

FWIW, if you watch the RDCT fireworks show from somewhere other than the hub in front of the castle you will miss 80% of the show.
