Fantasmic and Luminous in the same night, doable?

heading on a adults only trip in early March. Assuming Fantasmic will be at 7:15, and Luminous will be at 9 or 9:30, do you think it’s possible to catch both on the same night?

Also, semi related, looking ahead at Jan/feb calendar it looks like parks are only open until 9. Is this the norm now? Our past trips have been with the kids so I guess I didn’t pay much attention. But I sort of remember at least EP or MK sometimes being open until 10 and option to do some rides after fireworks?

Yes, if at 7:15 and 9:00 or 9:30 you should have no issue doing both.

Park hours have been shorter -- mostly closing earlier -- since the 2020 closures. They usually adjust hours a bit as your dates so it is possible they will extend MK to stay open beyond 9, but HS and EP will close at 9. If they adjust HS it would be a 30 minute earlier opening.

Agree that it's doable, if Fantasmic show is 7:00, no later than 7:30. The show is about 30 minutes, and it's very crowded getting out. You'd have to hustle to the International Gateway - perhaps walking could be your best bet at that point. But in March, Luminous will very likely be 9:00. The only time the EPCOT evening show is 9:30 is during the Christmas holiday when they are holding 3 Candlelight Processional shows. The rest of the year, it's likely to be 9:00.

It's doable but you will need to keep moving as soon as Fantasmic ends. Runtime for Fantasmic is 30 mins and then it is very crowded getting out.

Agree that walking to Epcot would be fastest but not always possible for everyone, especially at the end of the day. I would recommend Skyliner if you're looking to take Disney transportation. Line may be long but it will move efficiently as long as the Skyliner doesn't stop for any unforeseen reason.

So yes, it is possible but will not be a leisurely movement between the 2.

We were there the 12/10 through the 15th but we could not see both at once as one was 8:30 and 1 was at 9:30, too much stress to try and make both! :yo-yo:

Thanks everyone. Well give it a try! The more desirable show is Fantasmic, so if we miss a part of luminous it won’t be as big of a deal.
