Know this is tight...but has anyone successfully seen Fantasmic and then walked (briskly) to Epcot for Illuminations in the same night? Theoretically, Fantasmic last 25 minutes finishing up around 7:25 - then say 10 minutes to exit the park. Allowing say 30 minutes to walk to Epcot International Gateway would get you there by around 8:15 for the 9:00 show.

We only have a 2 night trip, the first night watching Wishes/Spectro.

It's ok to say it...am I crazy to even think about this?

I think Fantasmic and Park exit in 10 minutes is not possible - I would guess 20 minutes out of Fantasmic (unless you are right by the exit) and another 10 minutes out of the park assuming you are ahead of the crowd then the 30 minute to the IG is at a good clip as well

thanks

You can do it with no problem. Take it from an old girl with bad wheels. We did it 3 times last year in the beginning of December. And you don't have to leave Fantasmic early. I would however try to cop a seat in Fantasmic towards the top. If Fantasmic ends at 7:30 you can be out of MGM by 8 and walk to EPCOT in plenty of time for the 9 Illuminations. The walkway between MGM and EPCOT is virtually empty. I believe it is less than a mile walk so you should have no problems.
