Fantasmic AND a Galactic Spectacular... is it possible?

What about if SWAGS is shown BEFORE Fantasmic? I believe it is that way tomorrow? My cousins want to see SWAGS while there tomorrow but their travel agent booked them a F! dining pkg at Mama Melrose, telling them the meal included FP for the Star Wars fireworks....i know, i know. I told them where to stand to watch SWAGS, which starts at 7:30 and told them when it ends to head over to the Fantasmic theater and hope for the best (F! starts at 8pm).

FWIW I am a firm believer that having the dining pkg or a FP for Fantasmic should mean you can show up 10 minutes prior to the show and still get a seat in that section.

That is how it was last Saturday. We wanted to see Fantasmic and had a dining pass, but were running late from the character meal at Hollywood and Vine (had to wait over half an hour to get a table and then almost an hour after we finished eating for all the characters to make it to us). We exited the restaurant during SWAGS and were right at Hollywood Boulevard in the center near were you can turn to go down Sunset Blvd where Fantasmic is, when SWAGS ended. There were definitely people in that area trying to do both and the view of SWAGS seemed fine from there. The minute SWAGS ended everyone in that area took off running for Fantasmic. CMs were telling people not to run and people were ignoring them- I got the feeling that the attitude was "If Disney didn't want us to run, then they shouldn't have scheduled their shows so close together). We varied from a very brisk walk to some running steps here and there when people were running past us. We easily got into Fantasmic and weren't even in the very back. As we got there the CMS were yelling last call for FP or Dining pass before we open those areas to others. The crowds were not high that day, so I would say that as long as the park is not overly crowded and as long as they are back near that intersection and book it quickly over there, that it can be done.

Thanks for all the insights, everyone! One last question (I think); which do you thin would be the fastest way to get a decent view of the fireworks, leaving by the regular exit, or taking the auxilliary/secondary path out? Would either get us out faster, or offer a better view to catch what we can while we're walking over? (I'm assuming using the secondary exit is always an option.)

Main exit.
You won't know WHERE they will be exiting the aux exit when you're there.
