Fantasmic! 8:30, Sci-Fi 9:25... Star Wars Fireworks in between?

My wife and I currently don't have a day for DHS planned for our upcoming trip. We still have a couple of days and nights free. We are thinking about possibly going to DHS for Fantasmic! (maybe use a FP+ for it) and a late dinner at Sci-Fi (I saw the ADR and took it for now). If F! is at 8:30 and our ADR is at 9:25, how much of the Star Wars fireworks show would we see and hear while getting to one from the other? We are not really SW people (although DW likes the soundtrack) and would never dream of trying to squeeze our way into or through a crowd that had been patiently waiting, especially mid-show.

If we walk from the F! theater, down Sunset Blvd. and around Echo Lake (along the side where H&V and 50's are), how much of the fireworks and soundtrack would we realistically be able to see/hear? Is there a better route to take that wouldn't interrupt the crowd mid-show? Again, just an idea we are floating around.

Any thoughts, opinions and experiences are welcome.

TIA!

What time is the Star Wars Fireworks show?

What time is the Star Wars Fireworks show?

9, which is why we know that both F! and the fireworks are out of the question. Now that I am thinking of it, chances are the fireworks will probably be well underway and almost over before we are even in the area, aren't they? In that case can you see or hear anything from Sunset Blvd or the Auxiliary Exit from the F! theater (and yes, I have used your awesome maps in trying to figure this out).

1. Yup. And, a "wall of humanity" will be flooding the central areas of DHS during and after the show.
2. Nope. (Not enough to matter.)

Glad to hear that you've found the maps useful!

I guess I'll go back to DW and let her make the final decision.

Your maps are ridiculously useful! They have made me look like an effin' genius on many occasions (and I am sure I am not the only one).
