Okay, we are trying to decide which mini golf to go to. Nobody can really agree and we are clueless as we have not gone to any of them. HELP!!! Have you gone? What do your kids like? Mine are 10 and 12. Will that matter? I am open to suggestions....we are coming from DTD, not that it matters. We know transportation and what to do for either one. NEED help on which one to go to....THANKS!

I personally enjoy Fantasia much better than Winter/Summerland.

WS is a little bit easier than FG. There's also a lot more shade at WS while there's virtually none at FG, if that matters.

My DD9 LOVES Winter Summerland, and I LOVE the the theming. It makes me laugh the whole time. Santa sleigh being pulled by flamingoes - gotta love it! Neither of us cared that much for Fantasia Gardens!

Winter Summerland

Fantasia Gardens

We have done both.
Had fun at both.
I would have to go with Winter/Summerland.
Reason being a lot easier to get to.
Just take bus to Blizzard beach very short walk.
Fantasia is not as easy.
We were told just a short walk from Epcot.
Liars, over an hour later we finally got there.
Told CM our story they gave us a free game.
Had a great time, just not again.

I  Fantasia...it's very cool, lots of sound effects and things that happen when you get the ball in. It's great. But this year we're trying winter summerland

Thank you everyone for your posts and opinions...this is really hard.
Thank you to makinorlando for the fabulous slide shows. I let everyone watch to see what it looked like. Thanks everyone. Keep opinions coming if possible as we do not leave till August. :cool1: :thumbsup2

We play all 4 courses & generally rotate since we like them all. That being said...

W/S is heavily themed & probably most like what you (well, at least I) think of when talking about mini golf. Really cute. Much easier for younger kids.

Fantasia Gardens is like a traditional mini golf except everything is green, lots of topiaries & water. That kind of thing.

The Fairways are a miniature version of a real golf course. Rolling greens, sand traps, water hazzards. MUCH more difficult than it looks. Caused MUCH laughter! DH says it's harder than some full scale courses! We laugh alot here!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I would go with whatever you are in the mood for at the time and/or whatever is most convenient.

FWIW, you can hear Fantasmic from FG at night.

TIP*** wherever you go, apply bug spray before going (lots of foliage no matter where). Mosquitos love me & if I forget to apply I get bit.

We loved the winter course at Winter Summerland--so so cute! Our kids are excited to go back so we can try the summer course next time.

both are fun. i agree w/minniegirl in that w/s is probably what you would think of when you heard mini golf. it is very cute. i have been to fg more-- it is slightly more challenging in my opinion. it is nice w/its topiaries and statues. they also have "music sheets" at each hole that rhyme and tell you about the hole. i know fg has a hole where you have to hit the ball up and it is right near some water. i am terrible at these and it takes me forever b/c i have a tendency to hit the ball a little too hard. as a child i would constantly have to get more golf balls and as an adult i am too embarrassed to do that so instead i just make a fool of myself trying to hit the ball numerous times. it is always pretty funny. if you want to go to the boardwalk fg might be an option. i didn't think it was too bad of a walk when we did it. we walked from epcot to check out the boardwalk, got an italian ice, and decided to walk over and play. have fun!
