fantasia mini golf transportation

hi all!

On our non-park day I was thinking of taking the kids to play mini golf. I would like to go first thing in the am before it gets too hot (we'll be there in mid June). Anyone know when it opens? Also wondering if anyone knows how to get to fantasia mini golf from the Poly? We do not have a car so we are using WDW transportation.

As I understand it....golf is open from 10am to 11pm each night(double check at your resort.....you take a bus to Blizzard Beach to get to the golf..of course, again, you need to check with the resort...they can and will give you the best directions to get there!!!

You would take the bus to Blizzard Beach if wanting to go to WinterSummerLand Golf. For Fantasia, do what you need to to get to YC, BC, Swan or Dolphin (I think the the Dolphin is closest) and walk from there. It's about a 7-10 minute walk (if that )

In the past, we've just taken the bus to what ever is the closest park/hub (ie TTC, Downtown Disney or a park) and then hopped on a resort bus out to the Dolphin. You could take the Monorail to the TTC or the bus to MGM, I think either would work

I would suggest taking the bus to MGM Studios and then take the boat over to the Swan or Dolphin. The boat ride is nice and relaxing and once you get off the boat at the Swan/Dolphin, the golf course is right behind those hotels. If you were in the mood for a walk, there is a walkway that runs the length of the canal from the Studios past the Boardwalk and the Swan/Dolphin. This would probably be the easiest way since the busses to DTD don't run as often in the morning (although I could be mistaken about that). That way, you wouldn't have to wait for two busses (one to get to DTD, one to get to the Swan/Dolphin).

Then again, since you're staying at the Poly, you could monorail it over to the MK, then take a bus from there to the Swan/Dolphin and walk over to Fantasia mini-golf. Actually, I think this might be a better plan, since (if you're planning to do this somewhat early in the morning) the busses run from MK to the hotels quite often that day.

Either way will work fine.

Isn't it just a short walk down the walkway from MGM to Boardwalk? I might take the bus to MGM and walk from there. Whichever route you take be really careful crossing that road between the resorts and Fantasia Gardens, even at the stop light. People driving don't really pay alot of attention to the road (maybe because they are always looking for signs or something). I've seen too many near misses for my liking on that road.
