It surprises me that Disney hasn't seized the opportunity to capitalize on hungry mini-golfers by putting some sort of food place in the course area! We are have the dining plan this trip so would prefer to not to go to Swan/Dolphin since I don't think any of their restaurants take DDP. Where would you recommend grabbing a quick service type lunch (or even hearty snack) after a round of mini golf?

Anywhere on the Boardwalk is good and close walking distance. Beaches and Cream would be great on a warm day!

Awesome advise...We've got a slushy mess today here in NJ, and sure would like to be there, right now:)

It is close to impossible to get a walk up at Beaches and Cream. You would need an ADR.

Yes, ADR is necessary. Plan for it to begin about 1.5-2 hours after the round of golf begins. If you're thirsty or need something light immediately after golfing, they do have cold drinks and pre packed snacks available for purchase at the golf counter.

You can easily walk across the street (towards Swan & Dolphin) and walk over the pedestrian bridge to the Boardwalk area, there are a few QSR type eateries at the Boardwalk.. You could also walk over to the Beach Club Marketplace at BC.. And last but most certainly not least, if you are feeling adventurous and can spare a park entry, you could also walk into Epcot WS via the International Gateway entrance! :)

I think your best bet is the Boardwalk. Boardwalk Bakery has awesome salads, soups and sandwiches (and desserts!). You can also get pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. - tons of options! They have far more options than Marketplace at BC. If you want to head to YC/BC, I would go to Hurricane Hannah's, but Boardwalk will be a shorter walk from Swolphin. If you are SUPER hungry, you could always pay OOP for some ice cream at the Fountain as you head over to the Boardwalk!!

As a mini golfer and knowing Disney's standards for neatness, putting an eating place near the course (like right there) would somehow make people think they could take their food with them onto the course. Remember, Disney might tell you to "refrain" from taking those cheese sticks out on the course but there wouldn't be signs saying "NO FOOD ALLOWED!".

I agree with the Boardwalk area - some disagree but a pizza from the window is fine or from the To Go kiosk where you board the Friendship boats (good hot dogs). For something more substantial, ESPN Club or Big River Grill that accept walk ins almost exclusively.
