Fantasia Blu-ray + DVD

Has anyone bought Fantasia when it was recently re-released? If so, is the walk-through of the Disney Family Museum on the DVD as well as the blu-ray disc? I already have the Fantasia Anthology DVD set so I'm only interested in buying the new release for this museum extra but only if it's on the DVD. If it's only on the blu-ray disc it would be a waste of money as we don't have a blu-ray player.

Hi Elaine, I got the DVD/Blu Ray double pack for christmas. On the back it says Disney Family Museum but it is on the Blu ray disk only not the dvd. Hope that helps.

i dont think its out on dvd yet, only the dvd/blu ray combi

If you have a PS3 you can play DVDs on it

Claire, I don't suppose you could play the DVD when you've got a spare 5 minutes just to see if the museum extra is on it? Thank you.

Karen, from what I can find out online I don't think they're bringing a DVD only version out at all. There is a DVD included in both blu ray versions but I think it may only have the film on it and not the extras.

i'll check for you when i'm at work tomorrow, but i think we've been told that its due out in march in dvd. i'm not 100% sure on that though, but will check for you

I dug around a bit more online yesterday and found there is a Region 1 DVD out in US with the museum bit included so at least I could always import that.
