I just read the following online....is it possible? Alison? Someone say it isn't so !!! Please !!!

Big Brother 5 Is Coming- (Variety)Yes, Big Brother 5 is coming! The date is said to be July 6th. The episode will be start at 8:00. Fallowing the new premier will be The Amazing Race......staring Alison Irwin and her boyfriend, Donny. Big Brother will be airing on only one network in America, CBS. In Canada it will air on A Channel, Global, CH and others.(dates, networks and times may change).

Yep. Apparently it's true. It doesn't really affect me as much as some reality fans, as I've never watched BB (well, tried a couple of times, but couldn't get into it). I do wish AR would go back to casting all "real" people though. Apparently they did this last time. I think that Chip and Reichen, and two other teams were "asked" to be on the show, as opposed to having to go through the application process.

Yes. It is very true. I am not necessarily excited about it. Alison had her fifteen minutes. I'd rather watch someone else. I'm excited about a new BB though.

I've never watched Amazing Race, but love BB. I wouldn't watch AR now, Alison was enough to make me almost stop watching BB. Glad to see her BF was such a chump he stuck around.

Having watched AR and also seen Alison in action on BB I can't see that team getting out of the United States!!!!

Oh no not Alison. I couldn't stand to watch her on BB4, she just annoys me. I can't believe her DBF actually stayed with her after all the flirting she did with the other boys in the house. Pick someone new!!!

To those who are confused - Alison was a contestant on Big Brother last year...she was VERY annoying, and totally played her ex-boyfriend and 'cuddled' with other men in the house.

She has ZERO taste in men IMO - both Donny and the BB4 houseguest - I forget his name - were very odd looking.

I'm excited to see what BB5 is going to offer this year...it's a sad sad addiction I have...but I still watch it! heheh

yes! I love BB. I never really got into AR and now that Alison is going to be on it, I most likely will never watch it, she grated my nerves on BB4 last summer.


Does anyone know if BB will have a main twist like last year how they casted ex-couples into the house? Maybe they're going back to the original theme and just casting strangers although some of the fights between justin and alison and jun and her ex were pretty funny.

Yup! Heard this a few weeks ago.

I can't believe Donny actually stuck with her after being played for a "fool" on national TV!! Alison is sssooooo anoying!!! Though, I would like to see her bungy jump from a 200' bridge .

I agree!! She probably won't be able to find her way out of the states!!!

Well, it boggles my mind that anyone would give that spoiled brat bigoted foul-mouthed manipulative beauty queen contestant another 15 minutes of fame. I have never seen The Amazing Race. I only know of it because my kids talk about it. That's what go me into Big Brother last year, my kids. And it is not somethng I thank them for LOL It was my first reality show, which led me to Survivor, and then the Survivor Allstars.

I can only hope that the Amazing Race has bugs in it in one for or another. Or a mime

Well, last year, they DID have to dig throught an enormous pile of *dung*.... And, I remember C&R eating LIVE squid or octopus......

LOL Then you have given me hope and I may watch.

My kids have been urging me to give it a chance, and I have to admit it is always fun to discuss these shows with my (adult) kids after the shows.

But .......Alison........that is a bitter pill to swallow if there ever was one. And I can hardly imagine that I will like Donny much beter if he is idiot enough to still be with her.
