fanny packs on rides

I know that they have lockers by some of the bigger rides. But can you still wear your fanny pack on these rides? Do they make you take them off. We only carry around our fanny packs(for the most part) and I'd hate to put our fanny packs in a locker if we didn't have to.

Most hip packs can be worn on most rides. Just move your hip pack to the side, so it doesn't interfere with your restraint, and you'll be fine.

The only ride they will not let me on with one is MIB , they must be put in the locker

The only time I've had to is on The Mummy.

I wear a fanny pack of a size to carry supplies for a small army, and the only ride I'm not allowed to wear it on is Rip Ride Rockit. Push it to the side when you get on Mummy and MiB. I've never had a problem at either of those rides...I just push it around so it's out of the way of the restraint.

My mom wore a fanny pack around her arm (like a regular bag) on our trip two weeks ago and would strap it on her waste on the rides and was fine. No one ever said anything.

Thanks for letting me know. I would hate to get in line and find out that I couldn't wear my fanny pack. I'll just make sure our fanny packs are off to the side.

We didn't try to go on with our fanny pack but always put it in the free lockers. They worked extremely well except one time that we rode MIB I happened to get in line behind several groups of people who were either newbies, or forgot their number, or had kids sticking their hands in and interfering with the touch screen. Other than that one time it never took us more than a few seconds to access the lockers.

The most zealous TM we met was once on Mummy the guy spotted the *neck pouch* on DW's neck, under her shirt, and made her take it off and put it in a locker.

I don't recommend trying to stash things in your pockets unless they button or zip. In SW we were walking past Manta when a train went by and we heard a "dong!" that sounded exactly like what something the weight of a cell phone would sound like if it flew 20 feet through the air and bounced off a steel beam. I didn't see any goodies like that lying around under the coasters but the nets at Hulk had a lot of sunglasses

DH has a sick sense of humor. He re-christened that ride "Poseiden."
