Does anyone know where to find smaller fanny packs for kids that hold a small water bottle. We are going in August, there will be me, DH, my sister, an 18yo, 16yo, 9 yo, 6yo and a 4yo. I was thinking of trying to find little fanny packs for the younger ones. My son (8yo) loves to take pictures and he is always mooching my water off of me so I thought that this would be great, he could keep his camera, a couple of disney dollars and his own water bottle. Any help would be great and very much appreciated.

Thanks.

I bought fanny packs at Wal*Mart for my grandkids (10 and 8 y.o.) ... they were just under $5 each and have a mesh pocket that can hold a kid-sized water bottle.

The waistbands will need to be adjusted, but I plan to just "fold-up" the extra webbing and stitch it ... although last year I unstitched the webbing at the buckle, cut the extra off and restitched the webbing to the buckle.

I have found "true" kid size fanny packs are too small to hold the kids camera's and autograph books.

I bought kid sized fanny packs from ebags and they worked out great. Held autograph book, small disposible camera, retractible Sharpie pen, small bug spray, handi-wipes, gum, and some candy (Life-Savers, Breath-Savers). It was amazing what we were able to fit in there! I could've fit their wallets too, but I kept them in my fanny pack so they wouldn't lose them. :earsboy:

My DD 6 bought one at MK. I wanted her to pick a special one out that she could bring back to DW on future trips. There were many to choose from. She picked out one that looks like Minnie's dress (red&white). There was plenty of room for a water bottle, but a perfect size for a kid.

Camelback...the makers of hiking water packs, makes really, really nice child sized packs that also hold water. They are a bit pricey, I think around $30 or so, but look great for any day trip with kids, and will keep you from hearing "I'm thirsty".. all day long!
