Fanny packs for kids?

Hi, We are disney pros but now our kids are old enough to carry their own stuff! We have had a hard time finding fanny packs that fit our kids. They don't want "babyish" ones, they want something that just looks normal. They love the wdw black one but the straps don't go small enough to fit them. Has anyone figured out where to buy smaller ones or how to fix the wdw ones?

The prices were reasonable and they delivered fairly quickly. Of course, I haven't actually checked the order since one of Santa's elves (aka Aunt Joyce) is holding the package for me.

We bought regular fanny packs at the store and just pulled it as tight as it would go and then tied an additional knot in there. Fit the kids just fine.

In looking at the Everest child fanny packs through the link and elsewhere on the web, it seems many of the reviews were from people who bought them for their kids for wdw. Just wondering if anyone on the dis has bought them and if an autograph book will fit in it. I purchased a small wdw fanny pack last time we were there for this purpose but I can't make it small enough without tearing it apart and resewing the whole thing. Any one tried these Everest ones or something else?

We had this issue with our dd. We shortened as far as it would go and then she wore it over one shoulder so that it crossed her chest and back. The pack itself then became more of a backpack. She really liked it b/c she was able to fit her autograph book, pen, candy and toys all in her own pack!

I bought 2 of the Everest ones for our latest trip and they were really too small. They would not hold an autograph book. It was good enough to hold our very compact camera and money, but not much else.

We adjusted to the smallest size and tied a knot, worked great and the kids loved having their own stuff without really having to carry anything -- hands free.
